Bah - Design Team Ink Art Design...

Oh ya - I know a few people who would like this card !!

Wait - first - thanks for stopping by for my Design team make
for Ink Art Designs...

Using my background I made using the smooching technique - I used
Ignace - from the Ink Art Design shop - Katzelkraft stamp-

Stamped him onto my card stock - then I did a separate one which I coloured and fussy cut out.  There is a bit of stickle on his eyelids - and some silver threads on the right side of the card - which you can really see in the reflection.

Used a few die cuts to finish off - and ya - he is not the happiest looking cat.

Do check out the blog over at Ink Art Designs for more beautiful
work and ideas from the Design Team.

Butterfly Stencil - Ink Art Designs DT post

Welcome to my blog..
thanks so much for stopping by...

Today I am sharing my make for

First I embossed the saying from
Visable Image
available at Ink Art Designs
Using Hickory Smoke distress oxide
and embossed with Clear

Then

Using my Distress Ink Oxides
in
Worn Lipstick and Tarnished Rose

I sponged the inks through the Visable Image
butterfly stencil...
Just LUV IT !!

Using my fan brush and a bit of Nuvo Glitter Gloss
which I watered down a bit - I splattered all over.
(which you can't really see in this pic  - but does look cool)
And of course the edges and corners
are sponged with the pinks.

One of my old punches for the corners.
All layered in greys and whites -

Then
This is actually my first go at it.
The saying is not embossed - and I stamped it
over the stencil rather than before.

Added a bit of confetti glitter that I had recently
purchased.

So both cards are fairly simple - but the
final result I really liked.

These are the two main items used for the
cards....

Fairy lite...

This is my very first attempt at trying
to make one of these !!

Watched a ton of Utubes and reading different instructions.
My first try was using Modge Podge - what a disaster!!
ripped paper etc - just an overall mess.

So I soaked that off and went with the
Elmers glue with a bit of water added -
Oh my gosh what a difference.

So this is my end result -
Thinking maybe a string of fairy lights
might look nicer than the one candle
(not a real candle of course)
Actually put a bit of fake ivy on the inside
since I took this picture.

The top  with some ribbon and butterflies...

Didn't turn out too bad !!!

Masculine birthday card...??

Oh ya -
Don't know why I always find it
so hard to do a masculine card.

Well here it is ...

Cut the oval out - and used one of
my embossing folders.

The stamp in behind
is so old - red rubber - don't know where
I got it from now.  but an old fav...

Inked it in different colours
then embossed clear.
Placed in behind.

My Tim Holtz man...layered on..
then layered the turquoise
and black.

Using my Nuvo Dream Drops
around the oval.

and 3 silver blings at the top
of the umbrella...

Anyways - hope he likes it....

ATC Coins - Ink Art Designs DT post

Welcome my crafty friends

All of these Lavinia stamps used today are
from

If you haven't made an ATC coin
they are 2 1/2 inches round

Sometimes it can be challenging
making an ATC - the little space
to show off the stamp and
your artwork

But who is not up for a challenge
now and then.

The backgrounds are done with my
Ken Oliver colour bursts.

The Fairy Wishes coin has silver embossed
around the edge.. and a bit of stickles
on her wings. Used the Josie stamp.

The Center one I used the
Dragon Pods embossed in white and
Embrace your dreams words.
The dragon pods alos have some stickles.

Finally the last one is the
Fleur Silhouette stamp.
Used rose colour glitter for the edging.

Thanks for popping by - and don't forget to

Book Marks - Ink Art Designs DT post

Welcome !!

Today I am sharing my makes for Ink Art Designs
A bit long...but worth it - honest....

using this cardstock
background I made using my gelli plate.

And what have I made you ask...
well - a couple of book marks. Did you know
there is actually a standard size...
these are 2 inches by 6 inches.

For quite a few years now I go to the
Saskatchewan Festival of Words
in July..(so much fun)
so thinking of that is why I
made bookmarks.

The first one - The front - using my
Visible Image stamp - Where Dreams take You - which you can
purchase at Ink Art Designs...

The eye has been stamped onto my gelli paint print
with archival black.. and coloured in the eye with
a bit of blue.
Cut up the saying and layered and a little
sponging with green around the edges.

On the backside - splattered some ink with my fan brush.

Added some splats - and of course the saying.

My Next one -
Using Katzelcraft stamp - Ignase -
Just LUV him...
Kept it simple - But I stamped him first
onto the cardstock - then I did a second one
separately which I coloured and fussy cut out..
layered on top of the original stamp on the
bookmark.
and used one of my
Tim Holtz sayings.

The backside ...I used the
Harlequin Dinky stencil from
Thats Crafty -

Then added on the saying from
Rubber Dance - Funny Birthday.

So - bit of a lengthy post - but hope you enjoyed.

All stamps used here can be purchased from

And lastly - don't forget to check out the blog at Ink Art Designs
for more awesome creativity !!
