Christmas card

For this challenge we had to do one layer only !!!

So I stamped my snowman....coloured him with my ink pens.

Then I masked him....held a doily overtop and sponged through
with some blue ink.  Thought it looked sorta snowflaky....

Added on the little saying....and done!!!

Needed to make some thank you cards and decided to use up some of my scraps.  My scrap bin is getting so full !!!

These are about 4 1/2 x 5 finished.  And used my Stampin Up saying.
Very easy and quick to put together.  Could add any sentiment.

Christmas card share

Love the vintage look for Christmas cards.  Made this one with a stamp from Eclectic Omnibus.  Stressed the edges and used glass glitter around the edges.

Popped it up onto some different papers and lace.

Halloween Tags

Had to make a Halloween tag with adding a piece of chipboard or a paper button.  I chose the paper button.  Punching out my star and glazing it.

The cat is embossed and cut out and layered on top of the stamp.

Using my pens - colouring in and around.

Stamp is from Elusive Images.

in passing....

Well my mother passed away this Thanksgiving day.  Just shy of her 89th birthday.
Found this mothers day card I had made her several years back and thought I would share.

She taught me how to sew - and how to do embroidery work.

Mom made all our clothes growing up.  Remember her at the sewing machine making us our new PJ's for Christmas.

last one...

Maybe....of this style.  Just works so well for a few of my "masculine" cards this year.

This time I used my stamps from Viva Las Vegas...

Of course using my distressinks to mess around....a couple of blues and a purple.  All the black is with staz on ink.

In the diamond section you can notice some spots...I tried a bit of bokeh effect with the end of a pencil eraser.  Just dip it in water then onto the paper.  Here is a bit of a closer look....

Playing in my room the other day after browsing through my back issues of Stampers Sampler and found a card similar to this thought I would give it a try.

Nice and easy....

Used my stamps from Invoke and Tim Holtz.

Steampunk Birthday

No stamping on this one - just lots of gluing hahhahaa....

Using Graphic 45 images to put this together for yet another Birthday Card !!

Used some of that magic mesh in the background...I UTEE the image of the lady and cracked it - then put in some walnut distress ink to get into the cracks....popped her up a bit then built up the rest of the gears etc around her.....

Simple card....but....

This was a very easy 'put together' card.

Punch out the circle on the cardstock - place some designed paper in behind.
Layer onto card....

Add the flourish and sentiment .....Whalah... a beautiful card.

Friends Birthday

With this card I took a 11 x 4 1/4 inch Brown cardstock and

folded it in half then cut 2 1/4 from the top -  So that left a

flap 2 inches to decorate up .  The inside is 4 x 5 1/4 inch white

cardstock.  Placed the Happy Birthday just in the right spot !!

Some really nice double sided paper for the quarter fold card....
Inchies drying with the stickles all around the edges of the inchie....

Grandaughters Birthday Card

Today is our grandaughters birthday - so now I can post the card made for her.   Kept it simple with this 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card.

The inside made a pocket so we can slip in a little something for her.....

Don't think you can see the little brad - but it has her initial on it.....

For our superhero !!!

My Son in Laws birthday coming up soon.  Always challenged what to make him for a card !!!   Found this saying this summer while toodling at one of the craft stores.

Funny Bones by Riley  & Company.....I seem to be getting a collection of thier stamps ....always make me laugh !!!

The background is done with the faux leather technique.  Stamped the guy with white script.....and popped him up a bit.  A little distressing and a little man bling (can't be too flashy !!)

and so it begins !!!

My busiest birthday season that many for October and November (and a couple in December)

This is one of the first ones I made using a stamp from Sheena.

I stamped it onto glossy paper with a staz on black...coloured in a bit of grass and of course the cow's crown .....bit of layering and added the grass for accent.  Simple put together but came out kinda cute.

Flower Deco pages

Getting near the end of this round of deco pages.  This set theme was flowers.

This first one I used a stamp from Impression Obsession - stamped it onto vellem. ripped the edges.  Then I layered paper and flowers all over.

the second one I used a stamp from Invoke Arts , Impression Obsession and Hero Arts.   Using vellum again I stamped the flowers in different colours then embossed with clear.  Underneath on the card stock I stamped the flower in staz on black for a shadow look.

Dot's Decos

Hello my crafty friends !!! Thought I would share with you today the deco pages I made my friend over the big pond.  Her theme is navy and cream with children images.   This is what I came up with.

Using my images from Stampsmith !  Luv their photo stamps.  This is what my end results were.  Do hope she likes them.

For those who are wondering what a deco page is - it is about a 5 x 5 inch piece of art work.  The person picks a theme like Dot has ( mine is anything that flies).  So a group of us make two pages each to send - by the end you have a great book of different ideas for your theme. !!!

Deco Pages...

These sets of pages went over to Wendy - her theme being 'time'.

For both I Paper Artsy stamp - the one on the left - using staz on ink and stamping onto glossy paper.  coloured in lightly around face with blue.
The next one I cut out the image - added extra wings.  Then cut out an additional centre clock and coloured it lightly then added Glossy accents....

Both done on black and white (obviously)  Added Tim Holtz clock, embossed,  to the edges on both to finish it off....
