HI there my crafty friends and thanks for visiting! Today I am sharing my fridge magnet I made using Santa Mona from Lost Coast Designs. Stamped Mona onto glossy cardstock using Staz on blue ink then fussy cut her out. I restamped the hat portion onto Christmas paper and embossed in white. Fussy cut that out too and placed on top of the first image. Added some fuzzy stuff on the pom pom and brim. Make it look a little wintery anyway. ehhehee. I added the same Christmas paper at the bottom so I could put the saying on this.
On the back I put a magnetic strip on so I can place her on my fridge. Check out what else is going on at Lost Coast Designs !!
Yes - Day of the Dead - time for family and friends to pray for and remember family members who have died, and to help support their spiritual journey. Over at Lost Coast Designs we are celebrating. Today my share is wall artwork I made by covering my cardstock with soot - then stamping the image of the persian skull onto the paper.
Have to be so careful handling this as any smudge will show !! And this is the end result.....
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the fab artwork that other DT members have made !!!
Oh yes....that time of year for the ghosts and goblins to come out..... My project is being featured over at Lost Coast - don't forget to visit - and check out the 31 days of Halloween blog hop. Today with Lost Coast Designs I am sharing my Halloween card I made using the Skull Crown stamp.
The card front has been cut down - and there I layered the skulls. The one with wings has the nuance powders for colour ! and added some googly eyes. Also layer another set of wings underneath for some dimension.
All is embossed of course. I stamped a few more and cut out just the skull to add on....layered some paper flourishes. Bit-o-lace on the inside of the card and put the saying on top. Also....all the edges of the cardstock have been stressed. Come join us at LCD for a fab Halloween month of fun.
Hello fellow crafters ! today I am sharing the card I made for our grandson.....his birthday has just passed. and Holy Smokes he is getting old !!!
Tried to give it a 'manly' look - make it look like a pocket watch ... at least that is what I was trying for. Using an embossing folder for the background then rubbed it with Distress Ink. Add a few bits and bobs....and we are done. Thanks for Visiting !!!
Good day my crafty friends - hope you are getting into the Halloween mood .....I know we are over at Lost Coast.....bhbhahahahaha (thats my evil laugh...) My project is being featured over at Lost Coast - don't forget to visit - and check out the 31 days of Halloween blog hop. Today I am sharing my make of a Catrina. Using a Skeleton base and stamping the material with my images. Will share a few photos here to give you an idea of how I built it up. First, since I was making a woman - needed to give her a bit of a chest...
Adding her hair was fun. I picked up a small doll at the dollar store for a dollar (go figure) and cut her hair all off and glued onto my Skeleton. Then the veil and some flowers.
The stamped skirt I did in strips then placed sheer material over that. Give her a ghostie feeling.

Hey there my crafty friends - thanks for stopping by today. Today I am sharing a card I made with Lost Coast Designs. Using the Shrubbery stamp - stamped onto an alcohol ink background I made (using staz on black) Then the Harmony word seemed to fit with all the plants going back into the earth. Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the Fall. Check out LCD and see all the other great work. Or even better join one of the challenges and win some rubber !!!
Hey there my crafty friends. I found this technique on Splitcoast stampers and just loved playing with this idea. So you take the wax paper and run it through your cuttlebug - then iron it onto your clossy paper.
Use whatever colours you want to work with.
and ta - da -
Easy peasy ....so here is the card I made using this.

Over at Lost Coast the challenge is on - Hip to be Square. I am sharing the second card I made, not using the square stamps this time, but cutting out the images into squares. Then mounted on a square - then onto a square card.
Using the Mini Bird set 1 - I coloured each of them - then covered the image with glossy accents. Distressed the edges a bit. Mounted them onto a scalloped square.
Be sure to join in and also - check out my other team mates creations at Lost Coast Designs !!!! Also entered into the Simon Says
Over at Lost coast it is Hip to be Square !!! Using the square stamps from Carmens Vernada I made the following card using the Jester stamp and the Calligraphy stamp.
The background was done by scoring about every inch both ways. Then I used some green in to colour in the tips. Makes for a very cool background. (here is an example of template)
The jester image - (a professional joker or “fool” at a medieval court, typically wearing a cap with bells on it) I coloured with my pens - then covered the image with glossy accents. Stressed all the edges of the image and the layers under.
Using the Calligraphy stamp I added to each corner then a couple of swirls to finish it off.
Check out all the other Design Team creations over the next several days ! you will luv it !!!! Are you HIP 2 BE SQUARE? Join us at Lost Coast Portal to Creativity for tons of square shaped projects featuring Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda SQUARE stamps!
