Flowers is the theme

Showing the next set of Deco pages ( 5 x 5 art work) for one of my buddies over at the KCUK group.  Her theme was Flowers.

Here is what I came up with.

Using my Crafty Individuals stamp with the Lilys.  Rubbed my Marvey/Tombow Markers on the stamp - then pressed onto my glossy paper.  did some layering.....added some vintage pink velvet ribbon.
The second page - using the same image - cut into inches.  Covering both with some daisys punched out...and pearl stickles in the middle of those.

Of course not complete without a picture of Tiger Lily taken when I was at my daughters in Moose Jaw  Sask.

Hope she likes them .......

Deco Pages

And the theme is Africa.....
Doing different pages for my group over the big pond KCUK.

Deco pages are 5 x 5 art work that you decorate to the theme the recepient has chosen.

This first page I embossed the Zebra face and what you can't see is that I cut out the front of the face and popped it up for some 3D depth.  Stamp used is from The Artful Stamper.

Next...
Lots of grasses and the Zebras walking away - using my stamp set from Local King Rubber Stamps and the saying from Rubber Stampede.

with sympathy

One of our friends mother passed away - and wanted to get a card out quick.

I masked my card stock and stamped with Hero Arts - manuscript.

 Added the little butterfly....and done.

This would be very versatile for any occasion...but today. as sad one.

march's class

Kept those gyrls busy this time !!!  We did four
cards.  Two of them masculine....using my fav...Stampsmith photo stamps.  Just to have some fun.   The first one we did the herringbone technique.  Great way to get rid of scrap paper.

The second one a quicky using Charlie.
With Charlie we just put background paper on the cardstock....quick stamp onto paper...layer....pop up the image.....adding the string to make it look like he is holding the floating sign ...

This one is our vintage look.
I am loving my butterfly punch, have used it on so many cards now.  We roughed up the edges - put a bit of colour on them then covered the paper with Gesso -added a bit of Inka Gold. Only thing left to do is glue on the lace andflowers and buttons etc.
Lastly was the Butterfly pop up card.

Using Tombow and Marvey markers - spritz with some water...and whoo hoo look what you get.
And here is a pic of one of the gyrls getting everything glued together.
