Fun Swap

Finally completed my fun swap - this is where we get sent a couple of items and we need to be creative !!!! I forgot to take a photo of what I had to work with - it was a small piece of leather and two paper envelopes 4 1/4 X 4.

So what I have done is make a cover from paper I have at home. Inside the two envelopes are attached. What I did to the envelopes is make them 'faux leather' using the masking tape technique. Inked it, stamped with my lone wolf feather stamp from KK Originals. Covered all of it with clear embossing powder.

The leather is stamped with staz on black with my native stamps Bear & Eagle. Designs by M. Johnny Jr., Salish, Kwagiulth. The leather is glued to the envelopes.

Front cover has a piece of leather that I have frayed glued on with a couple of feathers. At the joining of them have again covered with a tiny piece of leather.

Stuffed the envelopes with some feathers, then closed the little book with twine.
