what.....is on your workdesk.....

Whats on your workdesk wednesday - it has been several weeks since I joined in.

First, on my desk,  I am practicing a new technique called Kissing.....so playing around on scrap paper.
Think I finally got it to work ....so now I can make myself a card or more....

Then I have this drying off to the side.  All covered in Gesso and paint.....

And thought I would share my box of scrap paper.....really do need to go through it and get rid of some......or not.....

anyway - check out the rest of the avid crafters out there....at ....

  1. Love that birds stamp and the kissing technique is great fun to play with. Your stash of scrap paper doesn't look so bad to me - I have four drawers full! I do dip into it, but not enough to keep it down, so considering a giant card-making marathon to use some of it up! Happy WOYWW :o) Annie C #78

    1. hi janet - thx for visiting . kissing is when you have one stamp and a background stamp - ink up one with a light colour the other withs darker touch them together. the background stamp image will be on the first stamp - then stamp on your paper......took me a few trys but very cool

  3. Great projects you have going.

I just did the scrap "thing", so hard to figure out what to keep and what to pass to GDs. But I'm through most of it and I am so glad I took the time to do it. Now it saves me time when trying to find the right size and color.

  4. Great kissing and definitely KEEP the scraps. I have mine in colour coded folders which is quite useful. If you scroll done my blog you'll come across some MP3s of my harp when I first got it before I started the lesson book. Hopefully I am doing it properly now! Thanks for the visit. BJ#62

  5. Ahh, that scrap stash; I need to face reality that I rarely look there so don't keep one; or make a new reality where I have to check there first...I've actually shipped off a few good sized envies to a friend who religiously uses snipits! Love the painted pages...

  6. Hi Darlene, no don't get rid of the scraps, I obsessively collect even thin strips :-) So many techniques - haven't really tried this kissing one yet but I've also found another stamp twice shadow one today to try...later. Have fun creating this week Cheers RobynO#38

  7. I went through my scraps a while back. I am so bad about using them! I saw a craft room tour where the person has all their paper in hanging folders by color. So when they use a color - they put the scrap back in the hanging folder. That was for her solid paper though. :-) April #18

  9. Nice to see one of my designs there... I drew the birds on a wire for Stampattack quite some time ago! Looks like you are full of ideas and playing well!
