Book Marks - Ink Art Designs DT post

Welcome !!

Today I am sharing my makes for Ink Art Designs
A bit long...but worth it - honest....

using this cardstock
background I made using my gelli plate.

And what have I made you ask...
well - a couple of book marks. Did you know
there is actually a standard size...
these are 2 inches by 6 inches.

For quite a few years now I go to the
Saskatchewan Festival of Words
in July..(so much fun)
so thinking of that is why I
made bookmarks.

The first one - The front - using my
Visible Image stamp - Where Dreams take You - which you can
purchase at Ink Art Designs...

The eye has been stamped onto my gelli paint print
with archival black.. and coloured in the eye with
a bit of blue.
Cut up the saying and layered and a little
sponging with green around the edges.

On the backside - splattered some ink with my fan brush.

Added some splats - and of course the saying.

My Next one -
Using Katzelcraft stamp - Ignase -
Just LUV him...
Kept it simple - But I stamped him first
onto the cardstock - then I did a second one
separately which I coloured and fussy cut out..
layered on top of the original stamp on the
bookmark.
and used one of my
Tim Holtz sayings.

The backside ...I used the
Harlequin Dinky stencil from
Thats Crafty -

Then added on the saying from
Rubber Dance - Funny Birthday.

So - bit of a lengthy post - but hope you enjoyed.

All stamps used here can be purchased from

And lastly - don't forget to check out the blog at Ink Art Designs
