Today I am sharing a couple of candles I made using several different stamps. 

The first one, just a quicky - using the Crows Border stamps

The larger candle I used the happy cat and Carmen Verandas words and quotes

witches go riding

Notice I reversed the crows on the smaller candle

Barely two weeks lefts to get your Halloween make into our challenge!!!

Near Halloween

 Here with another make for the 31 days of Halloween

at Lost Coast Designs !!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the 'Tree Branches'

background stamp and

'Raven with Tree Branches' stamp

The tag I used the soap bubbles technique for the background

then I stamped the Raven in black onto a tag.  Sponged the edges with black soot ink.

Layered onto the background branches where I had also stamped the Raven

so I could layer the tag on top (popped it up a bit)

Also inked the edges

The saying if from Carmen Verandas Words and Phrases

'when witches go riding'. where I only used a portion

of the saying.

Slid in the moon behind the tag - added a bit of ribbon.

Layered onto dark purple cardstock - stressed the edges.

Sugar Skulls

 My first make for October with Lost Coast Designs

31 days of Halloween

I started with this bunting made using the three small skulls

Did you know these Skulls come in 3 different sizes !!  whoo hoo

What I put together was this bunting

I embossed the skulls in silver onto black cardstock, then fussy cut out

(they were not very fussy - easy peasy - LOL)

Added some silver threads in behind 

and added bling for the eyes

Glued the images onto the flags -

the material was rough cut out and stapled onto a string

Overall think it turned out kinda fun

grungie or grungy?

 Well here is my final make for the challenge month

at Lost Coast Design 'Inchies, Twinchies or Dominoes"

using a 'grunge border stamp'

and cutting it into one inch pieces 

Then adding the sentiment from 'party words'

I did some colour on the grunge image before cutting it up.

Added some butterflies and different layers of cardstock in 

the blue and black

to finish it off

Inchie Decoration

 Hi There and welcome to my blog where today I am sharing a decoration I made using a masterboard I made.  Along with using this months theme over at Lost Coast Designs of

Twinchies, Inchies or Dominoes

Whats a masterboard you ask !  

Well basically just take a big piece of cardstock and stamp and colour it.

Then it gets cut up for the project you are working on

So here is the masterboard

Using an assortment of stamps from Lost Coast

Then I made a 2 x 2 square box with patterened paper

Cut up my masterboard into one inch pieces

then did a bunch of layers

To finish it off I added the tassle

So there is different designs all round from the masterboard

(I was going to make a few more but was away on holidays and ran out of time)

This would be fun to make some Christmas ornaments also !!!

Hey - welcome to my blog

 with my first make for the month For Lost Coast Designs with the  theme

Twinchies, Inchies or Dominoes 

This card I did with a Twinchies theme.

Using the Pokey Pigeon and the Flying Pig 2 stamps

So all the squares are 2 x 2 (twinchie). stamped in black onto kraft paper

edges inked.  Used my white pen for some outline.

The square in behind has some splattered white ink.

The middle twinchie is a saying from Carmen Verandas

The square was splattered, added some threads, and layered onto black.

Offset all the layers.  the background paper is inked on the edges and some paint splatter also.

A couple of blings added.

oh, the center twinchie is popped up a bit too.

Do Cats like me?

 here with another make for the Cats and Dogs themed month here

at Lost Coast Designs

Using a few stamps - first of all one of the new Cats then added in a couple of 

stamps from the ATC Doodle set

So to do this technique you need to make two images identical .

In this case I did 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 size.

Coloured both as matched as best I could.

then take one, using a die cut that had a grid, and ran one of the images through.

Then layer on top of the other image - using pop ups for a bit of depth.

I love this technique !!!!

                                Hey - thanks for popping by my blog today ! 

  I am sharing some inspiration for the Cats and Dogs theme this month                           over at Lost Coast Designs.

  So I chose the stamp 'Taco John' (which is one of the new releases)

         and matching it with the 'no dogs in heaven' saying

Did the whole card in black and white layers.  Added some ribbon, and                      tore the bottoms off the layers.  

                  Gave this little guy a set of wings....

              looks like he is waiting to see you again !!!!

Using this cute Tabby Cat stamp from Carmen Veranda

I had the perfect paper to put her on !!!

(oh those soulful eyes)

Added on the saying from the Party Words 

This little one looks so sad...

She was embossed on white cardstock and fussy cut out

just a bit of colour for her eyes and nose

using several layers of cardstock, some gold threads

and it is done. 

this would be a great card for someone going through a hard time

Flash Cards !

 Well my grandson wanted some cards

about the size of playing cards

to use for like a trivia game,  he wanted 40 cards

Also requested for it to be all animals

So this is what I came up with

Here is the deck

Then some of the cards

Who knew I had so many different animal/bug stamps lol

So they (him and his mum) are using them for 'unusual' facts

about different animals.

Wonder how this one went.

(made a bookmark size one lol)

Scrappy Angel

 Christmas in July Challenge over at Lost Coast Designs  !

Using one of the new Comic Kid stamps this little Angel was perfect.

Because she was looking a bit 'scrappy' I used christmas paper scrap layers for the background.

Inked up the edges in some red

She has lotsa sparkle ehehhehee.

Layered three circles, distressed the edges 

Finished off with some ribbon.

 It's Christmas in July at

Lost Coast Designs. 

So my post that I am sharing today I used

Megans Christmas Bird

With this image I inked it up with my pens then lightly spritzed it with water

then - Stamp - and you get this great water colour look

The edges of the white cardstock are embossed in gold, as is the red layer too

Also, I used my gold posca pen to splat on the main card.

Added the saying which I also embossed the border in gold.

A bit of stickles for some sparkle - and done!!

Birthday card

 Well my oldest sister has hit a milestone this year

So I did have to make fun of old people - right!!!

this is the card she got

 Oh ya - it is starting

Christmas in July over at

Lost Coast Designs !!!

My first make of the month is this 

Angel Cat

Embossed her on Ivory cardstock with silver embossing powder

Fussy cut out (of course)

Used a piece of sorta framed christmas paper. added some bling and stickles.  Layered a couple of silver die cut snowflakes.

Wrapped soe blue shiney threads around then layered the Angel Cat on top.  And of course added the saying too.

Using the shrubbery stamp today

The background I used pigment powder for the challenge.

Lime and Lemon of course - Luv using this stuff - just sprinkle on

then spritz with water.

kept this make kind of simple.  The silhouetted plants and great colours in behind.

Added a corner piece and the saying.

At Lost Coast Designs we have a 'colour combo' challenge going on !

This card I made is using the combo lemon and lime

Using one of my Dictionary words and the Cityscape stamp

The polka dotted paper is Vellum !

I stamped the Cityscape on it, ripped the top portion.

layered it onto the yellow cardstock when I had stamped the Destiny saying

in the lime colour

Which was all layered onto lime cardstock.

Self Portraits

 My first post this month

with Lost Coast Designs 

colour combo theme Turquoise and Terra Cotta

I chose the Frida Kahlo (3) stamp to layer this together

I stamped her in black ink onto the turquoise cardstock

sponged the edges and lightly coloured in her shawl

Layered onto terra cotta colour paper

turquoise ribbon in behind

then used more papers I had laying around

Layers make such a difference when putting your cards together !!!

So with the colour challenge this month we have

turquoise and terra cotta

or lemon and lime

The Rose Boy

 Welcome to my blog today where my newest post for

Lost Coast Designs april challenge

One of my 

fav childrens stamp - the Rose Boy.

Can't tell you how often I have used him in different makes.

So I made this fun fold card just in black and white

This stamp looks like a photograph!!!!

Simple yet effective card.

I masked the Rose boy and did dark splatters

and the saying went well with it, him showing some Kindness

We need more of that in the world right now !!!
