my first doily

Have not worked with doilies before and seems to be the rage right now.  So thought I should give it a try before it goes out of style.

This Christmas card has no stamping on it. 

The image is from my stash and no idea who to credit for it.  The song paper is from Graphic 45.

Mounted the image onto green - hoping to bring out some of the colour on the tree. Then mounted onto gold.  Added some pearls to match the hat pin.

All in all I am happy with it.

    Great minds. I sat yesterday evening and finished two Christmas cards that feature doilies!
