It is that time of year where we remember those who have fought to keep us safe. And give us the kind of lifestyle we are so lucky to have.
My father was in WW II - he passed in 1997 - but my daughter got a copy of his military records.
He never talked much to us about his time over in Europe - so learned a lot when we saw his military history.
Take a minute - and remember those from many years ago - and those today.
Very poignant Dar! Most who returned never talked about their experiences and there was no counselling those days. My Dad only told stories about the good times and the funny happenings. They are all heroes to even be a part of it all.
